A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

In 1988, I decided to turn one of my passions into my business.  My husband and I had been on the road for years.  He is a musician and I am a singer/comedian/entertainer.  After doing USO/DOD shows for our troops all over the world, it was time for Olinn and me to settle in St. Louis to start our life-plan of having children.    I have always been a cleaner and to this day, it is something I love to do.  I realize MOST people do not share my enthusiasm for DEEP cleaning, however that is what makes it so wonderful!  Getting into the corners of a room, under the beds, on top of doors, etc. was my goal and a delight!  To stand in the doorway after task completion and admire the finished look was what made my day!   I set out to find other individuals who shared this passion.  People who cared about the soon-to-be client who did not have time to clean or perhaps just did not get enjoyment from it.  I found them...LOTS of them! I wanted to name this company a name that could also be a witness to God.  HE gave me the name - FAITHFUL SERVANT/MAID TO ORDER, INC.

After picking products that worked best and hiring those who wanted to clean houses for a living, our doors were opened.   In 1988, the home cleaning business was just beginning to be very popular.  I devised a cleaning system, personally trained the employees, and often times worked along side them.  FAITHFUL SERVANT employees are bondable, insured, and trustworthy.  After an employee has worked for FAITHFUL SERVANT for one year, he or she gets a paid weeks vacation.  This year of 2010, I will be paying SEVEN employees vacation wages!     Twenty-two years have passed since we began our company and the cleaning business itself has changed substantially over just the past five years.  Our clients are not as concerned with deep cleaning every time we come to their home or business.  Today our clients enjoy the fact that they are in charge and have the ability to choose what's to be cleaned each time we come.  Clients leave a list for us—in priority fashion—and we start at the top of their list working our way down.

We can do almost anything you want us to do!  We do stay inside the home and we do not step higher than a small step stool (kitchen chair height).   Our first four clients who began with us in 1988 are still our clients today!    I am pleased to say that I truly love my job, my clients, and my wonderful employees!   FAITHFUL SERVANT is a very personalized cleaning company.  As I mentioned, YOU pick what gets done each time we come, and, YOU pick the order in which we do the tasks.  YOU can change your list as often as you’d like.

FAITHFUL SERVANT offers cleaning services weekly, every two weeks, every three weeks, and monthly.  Some of our clients even have us clean more than once per week.  Some call just when they need us and some call for emergency cleanings.  We work extra hard to accommodate our clients.   FAITHFUL SERVANT is located in Eureka, MO.  We try to stay within 35 miles from our office.
